Hi!
How low you must be feeling!? It is quite a big thing this parenthood stuff and the demands night and day are just so intense. With my first child it seemed like the first year was totally baby, baby, baby! But it does gets better it really does - like when you are honoured with the first smile, or the first steps etc.
Maybe before you make such a very big decision, get some rest. Do you have anyone that can help give you that vital break so you can keep going?, It really helps recharge the battery and things won't get to you so much. And also advice from older relatives/friends/neighbours also helps.
But failing that and that you have really made your mind up speak to your health visitor or doctor.
But whatever you decide I wish you all the best in the world for you and your little son.
Big Hug for you x

If you are serious then contact a program like Catholic Family Services, or go onto an adoption web-site and find some resources. There is nothing wrong with giving your baby a good home but please think about something first, are you suffering from post-partum depression? Talk to your Dr. You don't want to make a decision now that you might regret later. However if you feel as if you might hurt your son, or if you truly are not taking care of him, then he needs another family. Best of luck to you.

You need to think very carefully about this, You may just be suffering from the birth etc, run down doing all the "new" things, i think you should go see your doctor, and ask for a bit of help.
Goodluck

Do you mean adaptation ( a psychological theory) or adoption( bearing others child as son/daughter)? It seems adaptation according to your question.

Though I can't exactly answer your question, that is a very courageous thing to do. Good luck to you and your son.
