Im using widows xp and I cant set any backgrounds,just colors.?

have you got a picture to put on your background
Right click on your desktop go down to propties
then when it come up click were it said desktop
now have a look at the backgrounds and
click on one you would like then click ok
if you what better backgrounds go to yahoo images
and type in what ever you wold like a picture of

placed the settings on a flash tension or disc and use comparable on each and every pc if no longer, then try disabling all firewalls for slightly then see if it fairly works, if so configure your firewall to allow acesss to those ports
