Ask the owner of the name. There are different spellings - Jeff (short for Jeffrey), Geoff (short for Geoffrey) and only he can tell you which is correct for him.

It's usually spelled 'Jeff' but I've also seen 'Geoff'.

well, it depends on the person. they are each correct ways of spelling the name, its just that people are given different speelings at birth.. another xample could b something like: Aimee, amy, amie or aimy (and ther r probably more variations)
if you need the name 4 personal reasons, its probz best 2 ask th person themselves, if its a famous person, research it on th internet!
