Hopefully both of you already talked about children in your relationship at this point. So with that said do you want children right away? Or do you want to wait? You could get pregnant right away first time or it may take awhile no one is to say. If you want children later in your marriage then YES take precaution.

Precaution for what. Your mother in law might walk in on you doing the wild thing.. So I suggest you lock your door. Other wise go to it and enjoy. If you don't want want children wear a rubber or your new wife could get on the pill or wear a patch. But if both of you want children go right to get and get the job done. You may have to repeat and repeat and repeat to make sure you get it right. Remember practice makes perfect. Now get in there and enjoy because it wouldn't be long and you will not be able to. Have fun.

If you mean protected sex, that is up to you. If you don't mind pregnancy this early in the marriage, then it doesn't matter. Now that you are married, being on the pill is enough, condoms shouldn't be needed if both are completely faithful.
