Ok Girls and Gays. Need some advise? I think I’ve messed up the first date with this gorgeous girl. It was a blind date so you can imagine it was a bit difficult to be spontaneous. Now I want to ask you gays and girls what I should do to get a second date. Should I leave a message that she should let me know when she is free for drinks (give her the power) or should I approach her in a friendship manner, you know go out for drinks just as friends for now. The trick is I want her to know the real me and not the me on the first date. She might not even return my calls or sms’e so I also need a plan there. This is important to me so please help me!
Ps: This one for the girls. Do you prefer a gay to call you or sms you in this position that I’m in? And for a regular date? Don’t want to be seen as a “pissie”

I think you are way over-reacting the way the first date went. Most people are nervous and not like themselves on the first date, and this is the way it supposed to be. If I went on a blind date and the guy acted confident and overly-comfortable, I would get suspicious: "Why is he so comfortable? How many blind dates has he already had that he acts so confident?" The fact that you were nervous and not so spontaneous on the first date is a very big plus for you.
The best way to do things now is to approach her in a friendship manner, go out for drinks just as friends for now. This will create the right kind of atmosphere that will allow both of you to relax and therefore get to know each each other better in a friendly, non-relationship like environment first. Proceeding in a relationship way right away will create unnecessary tensions and simply won't work because both of you need time to get to know each other first, and turn the "blind" date into the real one.

You now have the chance to impress her by showing up some where on likely with some roses and take her some where she would like. You have a heads up because you guys went out on a date before. No matter what you do start with telling her the truth along the lines "how about giving me another chance to show you who I am and having a good time." Do your do.

As for the call or sms thing. well, i think that you should at least sms her. At least she knows that you're still interested. And if she isn't, she wouldn't sms you back. Then, you wouldn't feel too bad if rejected. It'd be worse if it was on the phone if you understand what I mean. But, if you really like her, I think you should take the chance and call her.

girls like guys to take things slow. take some time to know each other.
i'm a girl. in situation like this, i prefer the guy to call..

mmmm i think call her anything else is too impersonal --- talk to her if you need to apologise for how you appeared and offer another date to show her the relaxed you
the plan is be yourself --- you want her to like the real you so dont have a plan
