I hope you meant the edible kind?? Many berries are edible and very tasty too. Rose hips, blackberries, blueberries, elderberries, rowanberries and buckthornberries can all be made into delicious jams or jellies. If you wernt after the edible kind, dont forget holly berries and these--Juneberry [Amelanchier],Gaultheria, St. John's Wort [Hypericum], Honeysuckle [Lonicera], Firethorn [Pyracantha], Skimmia, Snowberry [Symphoricarpos].

Presumably any berry that ripens in Autumn. The early posters have provided quite a lot of them. My favourite - which I have not seen in the lists - is Sloe the fruit of the blackthorn tree.

Pricked Sloe berries with a few herbs some sweetening and lots of Gin is perfect for drinking by Christmas.

In our garden I feel I must add raspberries to the list - still going strong although tasting a bit watery. And do grapes count? - we've got laods of those too.
