If he has not given you a solid reason to be jealous, then yes it is insecurity. Unless he is acting shady about it, like hiding his phone or having girls call him, then you should lighten up and give him a chance to prove himelf to you.

Do you trust him ?If not there is no basis for the relationship .Does he want to be with you more than his friends?If yes this again is no basis for the relationship.Are you insecure about other things like someone breaking into you home or hurting you on the street ?If you are then maybe you are a bit insecure .But please dont continue this relationship if you cant trust him !!!

If your boyfrien has never shown himself to be untruthfull and you haven't cought him flirting with girls then yes being insecure usualy is the reason you do not trust your boyfriends. If he has shown himself to not be trustworthy in your mind then no you are not insecure.

it could mean that you are insecure and think that your boyfriend might find someone else that you think is better than you. or you could have reasons to not trust him.
