and that the US was winning the war. Now he contradicts himself and says that he is not satisfied. Well, which one is it? I would like answers from Bush voters, since you voted for that dude. I believe that he just says what plp want to hear andhas lost control of the war.

He said earlier that he was "satisfied with the progress." Because the good guys were making progress, the terrorists changed tactics by targeting Iraqi sectarian (a.k.a. "innocent civilians") targets instead of military ones.
Our previous tactics haven't been as effective against this change. This is what he is "not satisfied" with.
This isn't a contradiction...it's being "progressive."
I was satisfied with my kid's diapers when he was two. Now that he's seventeen, I'm more concerned about his driving habits than I am his diapers. Things change, in other words.

He may have said he is not satisfied now, but he still said we were winning it....now why didnt you mention that bit of fact, that is actually pretty freakin important to your question? Oh i know why, ur liberal. Anyways, the war is getting out of control, why? B/c liberals are holding us back. If it were up to Repubs we would have just went over and taken care of business and wouldnt have spared anyone over there, but Libs are more into "mercy" and things of that nature. Its hard to say we should show mercy, did they show mercy when killing 3000 ppl (mostly American) in America on 9/11??? Na, and they were civilians for the most part. Get a clue dude, after WWII this country has went tree hugging hippie and we havent really dominated a single war since, any coorelation??? Umm obviously. There is no allegiance to our country and its b/c Libs are opening the front doors to anyone and everyone, just to get a vote. Bush is at fault for one thing, and thats believing that once we got to war this country would back us. We SHOULD have gone over there and we SHOULD still be there. You dont get the hell knocked out of you (9/11) and just sit around and do nothing. This country is freakin weak b/c of ppl like urself, its pathetic....

What are your sources for what you heard Bush say about the war?
Just an FYI...just because you hear something on TV, even the news for that matter, doesn't mean it's necessarily true. The media, who everyone knows is anti-Bush, does a lot of selective reporting. And since hating Bush is all the Democrats seem to be able to agree on, there are a lot of "stories" out there that are not true. Please state your source for a more appropriate response, or where you just looking for someone to agree with you that Bush sucks?

I remember Bush saying that this would take a long time and if we something is not working than we should look at other methods. The objective has never changed he is just saying he is not opposed to changing methods.

I'd like to know also. Bush can't seem to make up his mind; and if the leader can't decide, then the rest of us are really in trouble. A little while back, he also changed his mind on illegal immigration.
I didn't vote for him, and I certainly hope a lot of Republicans loose their Congressional seats. As a matter of fact, I'm voting right now (I live in Oregon, which uses mail-in ballots.)

.Our dear President has realized that the war issue in this election is going to be very important. He has decided that it is in his best interest to now start agreeing with the Democrats position. He's just hoping to save himself.
