People can die of a drug overdose anywhere. If he lives in a crack house chances are a lot better that it will happen there... probably more than once. People (both men and women) sell their bodies for drugs. If 'he da man', I'll bet most of those young girls are throwing themselves at him. Sorry, but its true.

In most states, at 17, you are old enough to drop out of school without parental consent, move out without parent consent, and pretty much do whatever you like with your life, if the person overdoses, the person overdoses, knowing a person died gives you plenty of time to ditch all evidence of drugs, so when the police get there, it's not a homicide, legally you have nothing on the guy, morally, you ought to be able to say, okay Mr. high, you manipulated the system, now we're going to take you out back and beat you with a water hose to teach you a good lesson, but we can't do that, so our actions are limited by legislation...besides, if we can't take care of it on scene, God will do it when the guy least expects it,

If he did not make her a drug addict he is not responsible, even if she is only 17. He proberly met her on the drug scene. If he had supplied her the drugs that would be a different story. most states 15 or 16 is the age of consent. I like experienced women myself.

What are "they" supposed to do about it?she is an adult (in most states) and probably a junkie...she made her own choices and caused her own death. You have not shown anything showing that the boyfriend forced her so why is he liable in your eyes.
