It is against the Koran to take the life of another Muslim, to take the life of an unbeliever is a duty, anything else is collateral damage

One of the Commandments exhort us NOT to kill. And every faithful Muslim is bound by this commandment which has come from none other than God/Allah.
Even Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was against wars and he abhorred suicide so much that during his entire lifetime he NEVER attended the funeral prayers of anyone who committed suicide. War was resorted to as a last resort when all possible means to reconcile was exhausted.
But nowadays you have morons who like to masquerade as 'Faithfuls' and it is they who are giving a very bad name to Islam. I'm sure that if there's such a thing as God/Allah justice will be done and they'll rot in Hell for eternity!!

Quran says if u kill some one ur action equals to kill all human kind. Islam doesnt command to kill people.
So as the father u are try to give ur kids a good education so they can have a criteria and always make their own research about things.
Dont let them to be manipulated by media, help them to live in this world and and deal wisely with diversity.
Dont make them to be scared, make them brave, give them information. InshAllah ur kids turns to be good and open minded citizens of the world.Ameen.

Islam does not approves killing of innocents at all. Only allows fight and then killing as last resource with those who don't want peace and turn back from peace and makes disturbance.
And further instruct leave them if they accept peace after capture even.
Al-Qura'n 4:89-90
89. They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-
90. Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them).
Absalutely no killing of believers if some one kills believer there is punishment according to intensity of crime.
Al-Qura'n 4:92-93.
92. Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due): If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means, (is prescribed) a fast for two months running: by way of repentance to Allah. for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom.
93. If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.
If you are referring war in Middle East, in Afghanistan, Kashmir, or some where else, you have to annalyse situation without inclination on one side and most important free from Media and propaganda web.
If some one invaded your house and start abusing your spouse, children, parants, and killing them, what will be your reaction?
Try to dig out and try to find truth. Don't be victim of western media. Still there are very good and impartial media exists in west as well see them hear them, and then deicde.

please don't mix between politics and islam principles,islam refuses killing any one no matter how old is he or she,don't let publishers news affect bad on your thoughts,in case of war as what happening in iraq or other places in the world american soldier is fighting in that place an killing his thats normal imagine any army take over your country,are you going to kill his soldiers any place you find them,thats normal and relation to religions here,killing innocent people is forbidden for muslims in any way and any place specially ilad mwn,old women and children.

the only muslims who believe taking life is all right are extremeists and in the same boat as the christians who kill people because god told them to. they are a very rare occurance.

Islam totally forbids killing unless one must defend his or her self. Also, there is no justification for suicide in Islam. There is proof supporting this directly from the Traditions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) which I will quote below:
(Bukhari, Vol. 1, Bk. 52, #147) Narrated by Sahi bin Sad As-Sad'idi:
"Allah's Apostle [Mohammed] and the pagans faced each other and started fighting. When Allah's Apostle returned to his camp and when the pagans returned to their camp, somebody talked about a man amongst the companions of Allah's Apostle who would follow and kill with his sword any pagan going alone. He said, "Nobody did his job (i.e. fighting) so properly today as that man." Allah's Apostle said, "Indeed, he is amongst the people of the (Hell) Fire." A man amongst the people said, "I shall accompany him (to watch what he does)." Thus he accompanied him, and wherever he stood, he would stand with him, and wherever he ran, he would run with him.
"Then the (brave) man got wounded seriously and he decided to bring about his death quickly. He planted the blade [handle] of the sword in the ground directing its sharp end towards his chest between his two breasts. Then he leaned on the sword and killed himself. The other man came to Allah's Apostle and said, "I testify that you are Allah's Apostle." The Prophet asked, "What has happened?" He replied, "(It is about) the man whom you had described as one of the people of the (Hell) Fire. The people were greatly surprised at what you said, and I said, 'I will find out his reality for you.' So, I came out seeking him. He got severely wounded, and hastened to die by slanting the blade [handle] of his sword in the ground directing its sharp end towards his chest between his two breasts. Then he eased on his sword and killed himself." Then Allah's Apostle said, "A man may seem to the people as if he were practicing the deeds of the people of Paradise while in fact he is from the people of the (Hell) Fire..."
So when the Prophet himself condemned the man who commited suicide to hellfire, how could any stray "imam or mufti" say otherwise?

no one thinks that killin sum1 is a blessing..BUT .. killin that person who is killin ur families n their is no way to stop him /her ..u are allowed to kill him ... inislam .. but no1 is allowed to kill children ... if any child dies accidently in ythe killin of the second person .. then it is a mistkae .. aand it is forgave by Allah almighty ,,,

Muslims do not just kill non Muslims. They kill anyone that is in war against. If you are killing them and their families, they will defend themselves, even if it means sacrificing their own lives.
