There are several examples where the clergy has gone out of its way to distort the laws in a manner that ensures male dominance and female subservience.

The right to freedom of religion under the Indian Constitution is guaranteed to each and every individual. The Constitution does not provide any license to a group of persons, how ever imminent to overturn the judgments of the Courts of Law of the Country.
Living in a Country that has a Hindu Majority, although named secular by politicians for vote Bank, why do the Muslim Clerics not obey the laws of the land, do they think they are above all that?
Which Muslim Country allows other faiths to have their own PERSONAL LAW BOARDS, All have to obey the laws of the land or else leave the Country, as these Clerics should do.
Do you think any of these so-called Clerics intoxicated by power would have any authority in a Muslim Country?
Stop cheating the True Believers of ALLAH. Leave the ordinary Muslim men and women live their lives in peace and harmony and not according to your bent imagination.

I know what you mean. We share the same concerns. Many of these so called scholars in power do not really have faith and lead people astray using unauthentic hadiths to control people's minds. I know a few unfourtnely belivers, who put hadiths ahead of the Quran. They don't seem to understand that some accounts of the Messenger (PBUH) may be distorted because they are accounted and passed down for years and the Quran is a tool and save us from Falsehood. The Quran is the Perfection in miracle but some people rather follow "priests and scholars"
rather then the clear, guidance of the Quran.
But what I have realize is that the reason some people follow misguidance is that there are misguided themselves, and Allah guides whom he wills. That why Prophet Muhammad was so great, he gave away charity so much that he kept himself poor, but of course he is not poor because he has a great homecomming in Paridise (ISHA). Its awesome that the Quran warns us against these people so that we can be aware. He will ask them about what they invented.

y might u get married below muslim regulation whilst u r no longer muslims. i think of ur marriage isn't felony using fact christians can't be married to better than one guy or woman at a time. the guy who suggested u husband and spouse is a fraud besides. using fact even muslims can't be married to better than one guy or woman at a time. He ought to divorce his first spouse and u ought to then get married. Then it will be felony. There are strict policies that enable a guy to be married to 4 women at a time. each and every physique has to agree and each physique is dealt with a similar way. in my opinion i belive no guy is nice adequate to have 4 different halves. Thank God I live in America! Here we can follow Islam they way it's supposed to be followed... not some wacked out crazy way some commitees or clerics claim is the way.

i don't know whether they would or not. but i know that in the middle east they all abide by the Law of the land.
and clerics have nothing to do with Laws at all.

it's very sad that we have a lot of so called muslim countries and so called muslim political leaders out there........ i wish people wouldnt use something as deeply personal and important to people as religion to suit their political agendas
