Realist (Atheist) and darn proud.

I love the US Constitution and I have read it many times.
EDIT:
I am also a realist, but I also have higher aspirations and that is not so bad either, you know.

because most people are blind when it comes to how religious (read: christian) the government is. they're also blind as to how religious this country is. and again, by religious, i mean christian. i always thought, like other christians, that we were percecuted and living in a godless nation, until i converted to a pagan like faith. now i see how christian the country really is, but people don't like to see it. it takes away from their persecution complex

one of the precepts of our nation is "one nation under God" established at the time of its inception. However, it does not require religion or spirituality. Those who cannot accept that I feel sorry for. to give you a better understanding about where I am coming from check out

The U.S. Constitution was not made by people of the same religion nor is it worded to fit in with the Christian Bible.
