The first thing I would do if it were my dog that had been raped would be to take her to my vet to be examined..she needs to be seen to check if she's been torn or otherwise hurt by this much bigger dog. Please get medical treatment for her..she is probably in pain.
After that, I would calmly talk to my neighbor..not challenge them to a fight. Let them know what happened and ask them nicely to make sure their dog isn't loose. (In most cities it is against the law to let a dog run loose) Only get the police involved if your neighbor refuses to co operate. The police will not laugh at you..you are just requesting that the law be enforced..they will probably speak to your neighbor.
The third thing I would do is make sure my little dog was on a leash and you are present every time she goes outside your house. You are responsible for any harm that comes to her...because now you know the right thing to do...now you know about the leash law. She is only a little dog and she totally depends on you to protect her and make all the important decisions for her. You are her guardian..her hero.. Hope she is not hurt too badly....please make sure to take her right away to be examined....best wishes.

Put up a fence in your yard. I wouldn't leave any dog alone and defenseless. A fence will solve your problem and keep horny boy away! Maybe your neighbor will split the cost with your on your adjourning side? Good Fences make good neighbors. Once your dog is fenced, if the bulldog is still a problem, you can call the pound for his dog at large...but don't do it if your dog is too!
Your dog probably wasn't raped, I don't think your dog is old enough to be in heat - if she was - you should know it - there are signs - believe me! He was probably just trying and probably not succeeding. Haven't you ever seen a dog hump someone's leg before?

I suggest that you try to keep your Chihuahua fenced up or in the house so that the bulldog can't get to her. Are you sure she is only 4 months? Because I know that at around 6-8 months they can come into heat and that would have attracted the bulldog to her,no matter how small she may be.

you definately need to get your pup spayed. Cause bulldog puppies might be too large for your chihuahua to carry to full term. Call a local spca or dog pound vet for help in this one. Also if a rogue dog is getting into your yard, there are leash laws arent there. Its the same as if you have a toddler in your yard and a dog gets in to harm your baby. Ask the local spca about what your rights are. goodluck!

Hi Jango, One thing your pup is only 4 months old and isn't ready to have her cycles yet.She will be ready in 7 to 9 months old. No way she can be prengant. All you saw was a horny bull dog. If he keeps getting into your yard,i would say something to the neigbor.

Keep your Chihuahua away from the neighbor's dog..It may help if you talk calmly to your neighbor, but, meanwhile, keep your dog with you when the bulldog is out and about.

Have your Chihuahua spayed. Tell your neighbors to stop letting their bull dog run around in YOUR backyard. If you see their bull dog running around, don't let your puppy run around. Use common sense. Dogs are dogs, they don't know any better, but OWNERS sure do. It's a human issue, not a dog issue. Don't blame the bull dog.

You should take better care not to let your dog out of sight when she's in heat. Get her spayed so she doesn't have puppies. And ask you neighbor to have his dog altered as well and if he refuses, then have a fistfight.

one thing is good about it. your dog is more than likely too young to concieve. If you do find that she is pregnant you should take her to the vet and have them peform a doggie abortion. They will be too large for your dog to give birth too. Either that or they will be delivered too premature.
A great but potentially law breaking way to deal with it is take their dog to the vet and have him neutered. That'll teach him!

give your neighbors a friendly warning to keep their animal off of your property. if they ignore you, you have every right to call animal care and control because their animal is off their property.
A bulldog humping your little girl could be dangerous because she is so little. he could seriously injure her. (and get her spayed when you get a chance) You should be outside at all times with her anyway, because predators like hawks and owls could try to get her.
