Gross!
If someone barfed on me then they would have to get away from me immediately or I might have to hurt them!
Unless of course they were ill...then maybe I'd be a little more sympathetic but I don't like my own puke let alone someone else.

First off gross! I think it would be a nice attempt to try and help clean them off, but more importantly make sure that you say how sorry you are and no matter what let the person that you barfed on yell at you as much as they want to while they still have the vommit on them.

You are better off just apologizing (profusely) then go as far away from them as possible. See, what if you barfed again while you were trying to clean them up. That would suck worse.
