Don't try it in the first place. Alcohol is a mind killer, and that's all you need to know to stay away from it. Because there's nothing more important than your mind and your ability to reason. It's not a joke people. One little experimentation and you could be lost for life. Forgetting and relaxing isn't the path to happiness, it's the path to death. Dig deep and realize your problems, face them, solve them, and you will become free to pursue your life's passions, the quest for and achievement of are where lies the only true happiness.

Don't concentrate on resisting alcohol in the moment that you have to choose to say yes or no to it. To concentrate on that moment is to make the mistake of thinking that you are more in control than you really are.
Set yourself some boundaries before you get near the decision, make yourself accountable to others and concentrate on becoming the sort of person who doesn't need to drink to have a good time, or talk to new people or be secure with who you are and your choices.
If the question was posed by an alcoholic, or someone with more of a history of alcohol or substance abuse, I wouldn't recommend tackling it on your own. Break the silence, get some counselling and be prepared to tackle the underlying reasons for the alcoholism.

Study the negative impacts of alcohol on health and society then u will always say no to alcohol but people knows that speed thrills but kills even though they carry on over speeding so this is their choice.

Just say no thanks don't want any. I have yet to go to any kind of party or anything where someone forces alcohol on you and trust me being a college grad I know more than my fair share of alcoholics and stoners. Life is not like a cheesy overdramatic ABC after school special.

DID ANYONE NOTICE THE WORD "PROJECT" ??
Try showing the effect that alcohol has on people, such as car accidents, train wrecks, plane crashes, murders and so on, where alcohol has been involved....
Also, try throwing in a couple of pics that show what it does to the liver.

thanks but no thanks, sorry I don't drink all answers like that are good. If you are on meds tell them so because alcohol can impact the effect. Me, I tell them I am a recovering alcoholic and ask for something else, water. The suggestion to bring your own drink is a good one. PLEASE do not let peer pressure dictate

If you're really desperate and "No," won't do, say you can't because you're taking medication that doesn't mix well with alcohol.

Bring your own drink, alcohol free. Anyone asks you if you want something, lucky you, you already do!
