If God created the universe and everything in it, then that must mean he created Man. If Everything god creates is perfect, then that must mean, even gay people are perfect, according to god. So, If god created straight people, then he obviously created gay people. So, if God created both straight people and gay people, why do so many people who belive in god, hate gay people, even when they come from the same creator?

If you were to ask gay people why they choose to be gay, 9 out of ten would tell you that they don't choose to be gay, but were simply born gay.

because lots of people are close-minded....you will not find lots of people saying the same thing on here, so you have to create your own opinion, and the best way is to do so with compassion. religion can be a great way to live your life by, but so many people take it to levels that are harmful, like bashing sexual orientation....its sad to me, but thats the world. Lots of people grow up in their religious household, they are taught certain things from birth and never really form any other opinions or ideas throughout life....sad, sad, sad.....but i agree with you..if certain religions believe that god created everything, then they are just choosing what to believe in order to satisy their personal feelings....live your life safely, be kind to others, help people and love people-arent those the most important things to worry about? i think so, too bad more people didnt agree =0)

True Christians don't hate anybody, and in fact are not supposed to pass judgement. Also, everything God creates is not supposed to be perfect, I don't know where you got that notion from. The Bible does not have a passage allowing for hatred of homosexuals, but it does make homosexuality out to be a choice (something that's a sin wouldn't be inherent in one of God's creations). I'm a Christian, and I try not to judge anyone; but if I were to, I'd say I've met plenty of gay people who I thought were cool, intellectual, and caring people, and I've met plenty of straight people who could often be total jerks (and vice versa). Way to break down stereotypes by propagating a different one.

pelouse27,
You asked about 'religious' people. Religious people belong to the kinds of churches that promote their religion. They intend to be religious.
Instead, you can be spiritual. And derive your spirituality from the Bible and the Holy Spirit. I am Bi. And a Christian. How does that work? It's between me and God. He has taught me that the Christians are supposed to preach the Gospel. Not the condemnation. So they are being disobedient to the word of God by picking on Gays. If you want to come to God, then come to God.
Don't let them tell you that you have to be religious like them, and accept a doctrine that tells you that you have to be like they are.
Instead, you can trust God, and if HE sees that there should be a change in you, He will change you in the Spirit, and that will affect your outward doings. It's really simple.
I you have any other questions on this, e-mail me. I'll show you how I do it. And right off, it's because that's the way we are supposed to do it. But trusting Him, not by being perfect.

Religion has a firm standpoint against homosexuality. Religion claims that no one is born a homo sexual and that it is their choice to choose a path of sin and deprivation, hence why they do not accept it. Religion also claims people have a "free will" so if people know homosexuality is wrong it is their own choice whether they want to act on their homosexual impulses or not. Until religion changes this point of view (which I doubt will be anytime soon) homosexuals will not be tolerated in the Catholic Church.
And yes, I see where you were going with your question, but sometimes religion does change their phrasing to benefit some of their standpoints and no-tolerance against homosexuality is one of the grounds where they stand the firmest.

to hide an embarassing historic accuracy of the inspiration of religion. there develop right into a time even as instantly adult men did not comprehend homosexulaity in any respect and it feared them. adult men kill what they worry. The gay adult men devised a plan to shop from being stoned to lack of existence. They claimed that when you consider that God the daddy develop right into a guy who did not sleep with women people, likewise, a mortal guy who does no longer have sex with women people is likewise similar to God. Likewise, his sexulaity has arcane powers no breeding peasant might want to ever comprehend. The fib worked and the gay adult men kept there personal lives through residing as monks and adult men of God. With as we talk's sexual liberation maximum straights nonetheless carry a number of their religous upbringing yet are sexually better liberal . So faith todays holds a similar fears held through the unique preists, yet people in hardship-free words attack what sins they don't have any personal activity in. because you DONT see a number of religous people claiming instantly sex is all that grimy, because thats what they do. gay sex is unique, so it receives to be the dislike merchandise.

there is controversy as to weather a person is born gay or chooses to be gay i personally know some one who became gay as he was molested by his father this was caused by his environment i have met people who were gay but resisted the urges to help them overcome their desire for the purpose of worshiping Jehovah god to me there is no controversy if you are born gay then it is a flaw in the human gene and is contrary to nature if you want to please god then you must fight it there are many people who overcome undesirable traits to love god and be accepted by him god did not create gay people and then denounce thier behavior as unclean that is hippocritical i tend to believe that its a choice made by the person however im no expert i do know that this activity is unacceptable to the creator as explained in various books of the bible if thats what you believe christians should not hate anyone but should view gays as potential brothers in christ in need of some exposure to how their actions affect their standpoint with god then lovingly provide support to help them join gods family this is jehovah witnesses way however they are not like other christian churches their way is unique this is why they are the most peaceful and united christian religion on earth do the research

O.K. Well Christians do not hate gay people....they don't like what they do.
It is not normal they say to have sex with another of the same sex.
The Bible is quite clear on this....
You say''God obviously created gay people'...that is in-correct.God would not do that....as He would know, this world would give them such a hard time with others...
Gay people, are people who lean in a different direction to how nature was intended.
You Can Not produce another human being...with same sex people.
God wanted people to ''inhabit'' the earth!
I didn't write to rules God did !!!
so no use people getting all upset...Saying I hate gays.I don't hate them....
And I will tell you....that to say we do hate gays, is totally UNTRUE!................... totally.....

The same chapter of the bible that is most often quoted (leviticus) for the "anti-gay" arguement, also states one should publicly stone a disobedient child...but that part gets ignored, because christians are more enlightened now (or hypocritical...you decide).

be an exgay like me and suffer for Jesus the rest of your life, you may be lonely, but you get to be full of self-righteous zeal! Anyway I am an exgay and I find that the whole hating gays thing is over rated most people I know could care less, but those few that look at me with shock every time they see me do piss me off.
