My girl is 9 years old and is small built and very thin. She eats very little and have bouts of vomitting/upset stomach every few months. Each time it happens, it will last about a week and she will lose even more weight. My son who is one year younger than her has surpassed her in height and weight, mainly becos he eats everything and anything. I realise that she is afraid of trying new food and will only nibble at it and if its bad, she will stop there & then. I have started giving her 1) multivitamins 2) Predasure Milk (formula for picky eaters) and 3) Vitagen.. she takes all of that now everyday but her weight still remains the same. Although she is growing but she is still one of the smallest in her class and she looks quite weak to me. Anything ideas how I can get her weight up?

Give her the Homeopathic Remedy CHINA OFF 30 half an hour before meals and her eating disorder and her weakness both will be cured without any side effects or complications.
Take Care and God Bless you !

The key is developing an appetite for her, her eating history, and (this might be a stretch) peer pressure.

If you invited her friends over for dinner/a party and observed how they ate, you might be able to determine if it's peer pressure. If they talk about guys a lot (obviously...), then she might be concerned about self-image. Or you could just talk to her...

You might want to think about getting her regularly involved in some form of exercise she likes to develop her appetite. The faster the metabolism works the more protein will build, the stronger she becomes, etc.

As for eating history - if she was a picky eater before, it's, again, obviously more likely she'll be a picky eater now. A transition from picky eating will be a cat fight but in the long run will be worth it, as it'll give you more chances of healthy breakfast/dinner alternatives.

i would talk to her doctor about the vomiting my sister is a picky eater too she hardly ate anything and she turned out ok. Your daughter maybe really full so it is kinda hard to tell my sister is really really skinny too. She is 27 and just now gaining a little weight she is in a size 6. I would just consult her doctor and see what he/she says.
Let her choose a meal couple nights a week make her favorite foods maybe then she will eat more. Maybe reward her for actually trying new foods. Give her a dollar for each new food she tries.
Good luck

Hi,

Can I inquire what multivits you are giving her?

Can I suggest that you give her this food that I am giving my son? It is a 100% algae based food that is good for:
- increasing immunity
- providing nutrition that your child needs
- aidiing stomach digestion
- aid brain development
and very importantly
- helping children grow

Simply put, if you feed her this food, you are likely to not need to feed her the multivits, vitagen etc..

My son is 16 months but as tall as a two year old now. My friend's son was like your daughter and often sickly and very small as well. I recommended this food to him and he has since become healthier, heavier and doesn't fall sick so easily.

If you want more info, please email to me at verityy@yahoo.com

my daughter seemed to have a lot of similiar symptoms as this.. I found out it was allergies. And it wasnt food allergies, it was to the paint at her school. Anything she ate wouldnt stay down, she also had days on end of stomach cramps and diaheria(sp?). After we did thorough allergy testing, did we get the medicine to help. She still has her days, like the first days back to school after summer, or holidays when the smell of fresh paint is new. Goodluck to you, hope you find a solution.

feed her foods that she does like.
My nephew was also a picky eater and he only ate eggs and PB&J sandwitches. so thats what we gave him. As he got a little older, he began eating other foods.
Just make sure that she continues to take multivitamins.

If I she were me I would try to keep the house immaculately clean, light scented candles and incense maybe it will help the food seem more appetizing. Also let her choose what she wants to eat, make her own grocery list of what sounds good

personally, I don't think the multivitamin is a good idea.
mainly because they are usually full of artificial vitamins, not good at all.
