In truth there is the USA, and then everyone else. There is a huge disparity in power between U.S. and the rest of the world.
#1-USA
2-Russia
3- a tie between UK, France, and China.
The surface forces of UK and France are superior to China,
though China has a huge amount of submarines.
4-Japan, they have built a very respectable force over the last
couple of decades

2.Britain has the second best Navy although it's more professional than the American Navy
3.Russia has an extremely big Navy
4.China's Navy is growing
France has a big navy but it's not professional and not one of the strongest

Nobody comes close to the United States Navy.
Operational aircraft carriers, modern escort vessels, nuclear submarines.
Russia has good numbers but its navy isn't in very good repair.
France has a strong and viable navy.
Britain has a reliable and fairly strong navy, but smaller than it used to be.
China is building up its navy.
India has a fairly strong navy.
Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force is comparable with many other seagoing forces and very modern.

fire power whise U.S. Navy is far greater than rest of world all combile., we so so many aircraft carrier, sub and not counted numerous decommison ship. only thing u,s, navy is disadvance is alot of smaller country got too many small fast boat with rocker etc.. minewarfare... but current u.s. navy def system in ship is very advance.
