would it be unthinkable, no, the likely hood is VERY slim though. Semen is much thicker than water and tends to stay in clumps in the water. Thus most of the fluids would go down the drain. Some sperm may be left in the tub. That being said, Sperm is nothing but protien, and with heat protein denatures and breaks down (this is the same reason an egg turns white when you cook it). So even it there was some left in, the sperms ability to swim would be seriously impaired. there is also the fact of the soap which changes the physical properties of the water and further hurts the cells abilities and ultimatelly will break down the cell wall restroying the cell. that being said it only takes one of the little buggers to be resilient enough and make one heck of a long swim, so it is possible but the odds are slim enough it is almost not worth worrying about

Sperm needs a good environment to survive. When the little buggers run out of energy they die, so under the best of conditions we are looking at 48 hours.
The bath tub is not the best of conditions. If you use soap, then it will shorten their life. If you actually drain the bath tub, then the tub would dry out and they die. Unless someone soaked a vibrator in the seminal fluid and then used it, it would be highly unlikely that it would find its way through the folds of skin to the right place to even attempt such a trek. If you use soap on a washrag, the resulting pH would be enough to kill the little buggers.

ha! I was curious about this also.. My theory is sperm doesnt live very long outside the body.. Once it mixes with water, the life giving liquids of the body are washed off the sperm and it instantly dies. I think it needs to stay in the confounds of the human body, ie: male or female to survive.

I got knocked up from a bicycle seat that a guy spanked his baby batter all over. So I bet them little buggers can swim in the tub just like they do in the toilet. I found some semen soup moving around in my hair after I was done rinsing it in the toilet once.
So I bet it's true.

I don't think it's true. I have heard that the sperm die's a few seconds after if it's outside the body. Your friend doesn't know what is talking.

This does not happen if he ejaculated many times because that litter worm will only live within second if it was not protected through open air.
