Hi there !
Relaax... Why "be negative in your thoughts" when the "tomorrow is looking brighter than today" ?
Death is one of the very few things the human science has not conquered so far..
Your question "does anyone know what is death" puzzles me really...because spirits are NOT allowed to register in "Yahoo questions" !

Best wishes..

I think one of the hard parts of being alive is the heaviness of our bodies. Probably one of the best parts of death is the release of our heaviness. It could be noticable that the body is heavy before dying. Who is really to say. Obviously there is no intelligent answer to your question so you could be dying for all we know. People pass off things as being impossible. What do they know. Why would you think that you were dying? Or are you just wondering if that's what it's like? I am hoping that you haven't attempted to kill yourself slowly as you ask this. Who knows. You could have some other problems going on as well that are mental. It's hard to say with such little info. I hope that your ok. Considering that most of the responces are from people that have NOT died before, they would probably NOT know one way or the other..

yes i have died twice, here is my story. I came down with Asthma and went to the ER, he prescribe me and inhaler and two other Rx's, I took the meds like prescribed by it was until the next day at work that i had to use my inhaler, however when i did it interacted with the other Meds. and i got very weak and glassy eyed. 911 was called and the ambulance came, once they took my pulse i was laid on a stretcher and wheeled out. I knew I was in trouble when the I was being stripped while the back doors where wide open for anyone to see. sticky pads where applied all over my body and then the medic seat down to me and said yes you hearts not good, bare with us you are gong to feel funny. The word was funny not dead, They proceed to stop my heart, then I was back, then they said it again you are going to fill funny and gave another shot, again I died, Let me tell you at the moment of death is like: your eyes are froze at the last image you last saw, you can not move, your body is gone as far as you can feel, All I was can be described as that little small voice inside you, that part of me lived, as my heart stop, best wishes, hoped I helped

The opposite of living. I assume it feels great. I think I'll try it now. In about 5 minutes, go find a good psychic so I can tell you what it's like!

Hey, speak for yourself! I'm dead, but I am using this guy "smirx" to check my email, and check out the latest stocks. Kudos to Sarah C though for thinking of an extraordinary way to get numerous reactions!

Your question is definitely not silly as what these people are saying here. This is a mental pervertness of those people. Please do not care for them. Especially girls, when they do not know a right and honest answer for a question they brush of the question as silly. I pitty those birdbrains.

Coming to ur question, it is a very complex one. One can experience the feel of death only by deep meditation. This is called NDA (Near Death Experience). If you have the curiosity to know what death feels like, consult a meditation expert.

Now coming to ur current feeling, I can sense it that it's just a case of meloncholy/ depression.

You just need to shrug it off by thinking all positive things in life.

I will tell you some secret (it's a quick remedy ). Just think very strongly about SEX. Indulge in some sexual fantasy or even masturbate. You will immediately come out of ur depression.

Though my suggestion looks crazy, try it . It really works! I swear.

No thats not what dying feels like, Thats sounds like depression, go for a walk, have a drink and smile, be greatfull ur alive, others in the world have it worse, have a drink, cheer up dude, or go get some help from a doctor, or email me, I'll talk to ya, Ive been thru depression and still suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, they are aweful but you need to take control, its hard but you can do it, Peace.

OK, unless you are in the hospital actually dying from something, I don't think anyone can really answer this. To say, "I feel dead." or "I feel like I'm gonna die." is usually just to exaggerate a feeling...feeling tired...feeling sad...feeling scared. You don't sound like you're dying. You sound like you are having tunnel vision, and are very tired from the anxiety you are going through. But, see a doctor and be sure. The dead only know how it really feels to die.

Sara, you need to lay off the crap your taking!
I am dieing of kidney failure maybe not today but I worry about all the things that I still need to do. Like seeing my grandbaby girl being born. or stopping my grandsons tears.
Thats what dying is really all about your family & friends still needing you.
Now grow up and live a good long life.
Enjoy

I died twice, briefly, while having a pulmonary embolism.. No, it didn't feel like slow motion. No, body didn't feel heavy. Sounds more like you have depression issues. If you are already dealing with mental issues with a professional, you might want to consult your doctor for possible medical issues. good luck
