People die of hunger every day and women get raped by Idiots that claim to do the word of God/Alah.
When are we growing up and realize that nothing like this ever existed? Why can we not be honest with each other?

3. Believing is NOT knowing!
4. If there is a god, how come we have so many different religions?
5. Religion is an excuse of living hate.
When people are blowing themsels up in the name of God/ Alah, they seek only to satisfy their stupid needs.
Why can't we give up religion?

Reach a higher level of awareness and dump the idea of the existence of a god TODAY.
Do I assume that you have already done that? If so, well done. It does take a level of bravery and self-confidence to reach the only sane conclusion and to admit it publicly.

The point of life is to take the cards you're dealt and the problems you face and play the best hand you can. To some people, faith is a tool to guide them.
Life is a one-way trip of experience. Bad things do happen, but that doesn't mean God doesn't exist. We all have a free will. Therefore people do bad thing to each other and some people lie by hiding behind a religion.
Some people do really good things too - I guess you see what you're looking for.
Would you prefer to sit back and have God map out a perfect life for you? So you have no problems, no test of character, no risks, just a passive journey as a sightseeing tourist? That would be pointless.
I'm not really religious, but I believe in God. But who knows. Perhaps you're right and there is no God. I would rather live as if there is a God and find out there isn't when I die, that live like God doesn't exist and then see the big man after death. Too late then.
Why do you want people to quit their faith? Does it bother you?

One thing I do know is that it is people that are responsible for the horrors that you refer to. Why is God held responsible for what men have done to themselves? The irony is that while God is criticized by people that don't even believe in him for the atrocities commmitted by men (many times claiming to be serving God) they refuse to believe that this world system is going to be judged along with unrighteous people, their governments and institutions and religions will all be done away with. The reason is all the things you cited that people have done. As for evidence of God's existence consider this point. Before the universe existed there was only the Creator, the Bible doesn't say that he had lots of stuff lying around and he created the universe with it, he was alone. At Isaiah 40:26 it shows that the heavens (universe) were created by God's great power and energy. Originally the Big Bang Theory claimed a violent and chaotic beginning to the universe, but that has changed as technology improved. Everywhere we look we see the evidence of intelligence in the physical laws that hold everything together. You know something else you can't see? A Black Hole. Most are deduced by the effects of their enormous gavitational pull on light or star's orbits. If energy and physical matter act as subject to precise "laws" how can anyone deny the power that keeps everything in such precise order? If there wasn't a superior power then there could be no order, nothing much is accomplished if a weak force acts upon something, but a superior force will have an observable effect. There has to be a source of energy much greater than the universe then. That source of great energy is our Creator.

Where did everything come from? Where did that come from? Where did that come from? Every day I open my eyes and see the vast complexity of everything, I see God. The many religions is a way for the devil to confuse people and misdirect people away from God and worshiping false Gods. You need to look at everything and evaluate everything. Many religions say do good and you will be with god or go to heaven. Well, how much good must we do to go? Those religions fall apart. There is no path (or to say action we can make or do to get us from a, where we are, to b, with God.), there is only a way. That way is jesus. There is nothing we can do to be worthy. We have all fallen short. Thank God for his love for us. Just as we have love for a child and when our child makes mistakes we still love them. Even so imagine how much more God loves us. There are many answers that would take forever to go. If you really want to know and understand you need to go to the source, God. Read the bible. There are other things to get answers too, like the book written by a former atheist, Lee Stroble, called, "The case for Christ." It gives every logical fact to how you can't deny Christ. There is also a very interesting movie called, "A Perfect Stranger." It is kind of cheesey but it goes over a lot of questions we all ask.

Im with you mate. I wish people would wise up and see religion for the rubbish it actually is. I cant believe that people in this day and age still believe that there is one supreme being that created everything, supposedly loves everyone etc yet allows horrific things to happen.
He didnt feel too much love for the thousands that died in the tsunami, or the earthquake in India or on 9/11 did he?
Religion is a crutch for the weak minded, and for some an excuse for commiting horrific acts of violence.
All religions should be disbanded in my opinion but there are too many idiots in the world who refuse to see sense

I think religion is part of natural selection, it weeds out the stupid. As harsh as it sounds after seeing what happened when some one was in a dangerous situation and the advice the air head fundies gave, the only thing that popped in my mind was: Natural selection in progress!
FYI: My coffe cup took over heaven and hell, it is now the sole ruler of both realms. All worship my coffe cup! As proof my coffe cup said so, I feel it in my heart thus it must be true, and it is 316 Stainless steel, how can any thing that shiny and durable lie?

I'm a christian..religion is more than that..believing in God needs faith as none have seem God..Firstly God did not instruct man to rape, kill nor commit murder.God is a loving and caring God..those who kill in the name of God are taking God's name in vain..God is not a lie..He exists and He's constantly looking over his children..we are the sheep He is the Shepperd..therefore we need God to give us a direction and lead us in life..we ride on His shoulders in times of depression and sorrow..When we are down He's always there for us..God commanded us to love our neighbours just as we love ourselves but His words have fallen on deft ears...religion and God is something scholars cannot explain..it is something we experience in our hearts not something we try to understand in that small brain of ours..i would advice you to watch your words because God knows and when He's angry you might feel His mighty wrath..read the Bible if you want answers to your endless list of questions........
