this girl is not in jail, if a guy loved this girl much! but she can't make the right decison now! she is not sure she loves him or not. so this girl tell him to looking for somegirl else, but he said he would waiting her for 6 years,( not any physical constration).
he alrealy wait for almost one year, but the girl still can't make the choice, but he said he still want to wait............. this girl is worry about it will hurt this guy's feeling........... and waste his time...............

it depends on the guy to be honest. I have been in very similar situations. I have had other relationships and dearly loved those girls, that being said there was still a large place and great deal of love for the other also. I know I will never have that girl, but that does not mean that the heart will figure that out. He will likely move on one day but I have no doubt that he will always have a part of his heart that is only for you and it may be a large part. As for the amount of time, it may be years before he dates anyone. When you find one that resonates it is hard to move past them. He will eventually deal with it, do not worry to much. In his mind waiting for you is not a waste, but he will move on

Well, if youre just gonna hurt him than just say it from the get-go. But to answer the question of if a guy can wait 6 years, yes. Yes he can. I've seen some wait even longer. Hey, look at Johnny Cash. He waited for June Carter for 14 years. Elvis met Prescilla when she was 13 and married her when she was 18.

It is best to know someone more than a year before you marry. It is best to date many people before you decide on just one. If he older than you, then tell him you wish to experience the dating process with other people. You are not ready for a comitment. There is not promises that you can make and it would do him well to look elsewhere also. You will get married when you are ready, be it 6 years or 60.

He will wait if he loves her, but do you love him? It doesn`t sound like it. You shouldn`t play with a person`s feelings like that. Stop leading him on and making him think he has a chance with you. Cut him loose so he can find someone who will love him. You sound like a manipulater.
