I'm sure you've met people that you think are stupid but I wonder what this so called "stupid person" thinks of themself. I mean, Do they think they're stupid?

Hmm, I guess this depends on what your definition of stupid is. Some people define it differently than others: ignorance (everyone is ignorant about a lot of things), low IQ, no knowledge about world events, unable to think past the surface, lack of creativity, lack of imagination, even lack of manipulation of their situation or people. It just depends.
I don't think most people are aware when they lack these things. How can you know you lack something you don't know anything about?
I know that when I learn different things in college, or just daily life that I didn't know before I always think, wow I was so ignorant! But I was never aware before I acquired the knowledge that I was lacking it.

Stupid people don't know their stupid. Just like crazy people don't think they are crazy. Anyways, "to each his own" don't be too quick to make judgment on a persons IQ. Sometimes, really smart people act stupid and silly because they know that life should be based on having fun and exploring, not being serious. Only stupid people, trying to be smart, feel that they must act mature and serious all the time just to make themselves feel big.
If you ever met a really smart person, you will notice that they have a great sense of humor and never take things too seriously, for they know that they are in control of the situation and can manipulate it at all times. It's so easy that they have made it fun.

If you think someone is stupid, they might just think you're an asshole. BUT most of the time, when you meet someone who really believes themself to be of lower intelligence, you wouldn't know it. THis is something they would rather NOT express to another being. They watch their words carefully, and try not to appear less than. So, when you meet someone that is just a tool, most likely they consider themselves smart. Just what I have observed.

I don't know but I know a person which hears voices or whose notions gets a hold of them and the way it is handled by them is to whack their head with the heal of their hand. To me this must hurt and yes I've might of broke one of the questioned I asked previously? Its just this emotion or habit has caught on to others just like the cartoon the Simpson and with Homer going "Dah" or is it "Duh!" ?? Just so easy to inmantate it and laugh when we do it, but they were embarrassed as for one time I did not proof look at a picture I took but I knew they where in it but I was looking @ the rest of the group when taken an they just happen to of had a bad thought at the time I took it and not realized it!

We all have our own definition of stupid. Some of the people that we think are stupid could actually think of themselves as superior, and everyone else as inferior.

Unsmart people are not smart enough to realize by themselves that they are not that smart. However, they do get a general idea when they start realizing that they dont come up with as many solutions to a problem as other people around them do. However, always remember that YOU are stupid to many smarter people.

Some people are aware that they are not smart enough but others refuse to accept it and try hard to make themselves look brilliant by talking nonsense when actually the more it makes them look "stupid", as how you term(ed) it.
