It is actually very common. I myself have had dreams of my dead family members and friends......they are not just dreams. I beleive that they are making contact.
There are stories in the scriptures of prophets having dreams.
I know my experiences were more than just a dream. I KNOW this.
Trust your gut-they are alive and still around you. Of course..

I still have dreams of my father; they are usually remembrances of past times, like when my father and mother would talk in quiet voices early in the morning when they thought we were all sleeping. It is amazing what is stored in the human brain. Never had any premonitions or such. Joke: Once dreamed I ate a 30lb marshmellow and woke up and my pillow was gone.

dream only.
when a person dies, the attachment is still there. so u still wish, think and dream of them.
but in reality, the person no longer walks this earth. cos to walk on the earth we human spirits need a body. like a suit......its our "earth suit".
so if they are dead, they r gone

Our souls partly disconnect from the sleeping physical body and usually just float around at random. But if you thought of a particular person before you went to sleep it is possible for your souls to meet briefly.

we won't know till we pass over ourselves.
having encounters and items happen w/ ones that passed myself....I believe they can communicate w/ us more than we realize.
