Brush,Floss, Mouthwash....I work for a dental office and thats how we tell our patients to do it. Personally i brush, floss, brush then mouth wash...Flossing is very important so i would suggest to do that more often because your tooth brush cant get in between your teeth and thats where most cavities start. Act flouride is also something that can be bought from walmart to help protect teeth!

RE:
In what order should you brush and floss your teeth and use mouthwash?
I brush my teeth at least twice a day, use mouthwash twice a day, and floss once a day, but I've never been sure about what order I should do these in and how often I should do each.

i agree with themommie.
flossing loosens plaque between teeth better than brushing alone.
then brush,...the toothpaste can now better flow between teeth..
then finish off with mouthwash....now the mouthwash can more effectively get inbetween your teeth because you already flossed.
But I don't know a dentist that ever said that to me.
Those mouthwashes that loosen plaque do not work as well as flossing. IMO

The whole concept of a "correct way" is funny if you think about it... I mean all 3 activities are completely thought up by man (settle down fellow science lovers - I'm sure there are countless examples in nature that parallel the activities)... I'm just saying toothbrushes, floss, mouthwash - all "after-market" accessories.
I think instead of "correct" maybe a term like "ideal" or "most effective" might be more appropriate.
Jeeezzzz!! I must be bored to post an argument like that to a 10 year old post huh?

you schould brush and floss your teeth after every meal then you use the mouthwash but i think the mouth wash ain't necessary if you brushed your teeth very well but keep on using it. It will kill the germs that are still left (if any at all).
