It's normal as long as it's your nature to be a spoiler to the things, people and animals that you love. Otherwise, you better ask yourself and get some counseling. Just kidding!

It's normal to spoil your dog, but remember that she's not a human in furry clothing. She's a dog and her psychological needs are very different from those of a human. You need to be the pack leader and have her understand what she can and cannot do or have, based on your approval. You stay in charge, and you'll have a happy, well rounded pet. While you're at it, read Cesar's Millan's book, "My Way" - the Dog Whisperer knows what he's talking about when it comes to spoiling our fur kids.

It is perfectly normal to spoil your dog. She is very lucky to have you for an owner. I love my dogs so much that I buy them toys online at the AKC store and let them enjoy a hamburger, hotdog or steak when I'm grilling. I also cook them chicken and rice. That is thier favorite. I make sure that I don't season the meat. They are very happy and healthy. They are my best friends. (And I'm happily married with three grown children!)

I spoil all my dogs. That's normal, everyone loves their pets. I have 7 dogs and most of them sleep with me and my husband every night.

Justice is soooo spoiled. If he doesn't feel like eating out of his bowl then I will spoon feed him. (he is ill) My oldest daughter tells me that Justice has me wrapped aroung his little paw. Yes this is very normal. My other two rotties are spoiled to, but Justice is spoiled the most.

It's normal for a dog person. Other people don't understand though so they will say it's not normal. I don't care. Being a dog person myself, I don't need the approval of other people when my dogs worship the ground I walk on.

lol. I spoil my baby too, he has a tiffany chain, and i get him groomed once a week and he drinks only bottled water and gets a fresh baked chicken everyday. I take him to a dog park everyday which is a 20 min drive from my house. and he eats out of my mouth..lol..

It is VERY normal, but not necessarily good for your dog! You need to make sure that she is trained properly and sees you as the "leader of the pack". Then you will have a dog that EVERYONE likes to be around!

That's normal. I love my baby too and I miss her all the time when I'm at work. She's the one that makes me want to stay home and play with her all the time.

I spoil mine also. They deserve it. Pay not attention to GetEmGang. He is an idiot with nothing to do but post negative responses. Just look at some of his other answers.
