I like a man who treats his mother well. If he is good to her, he will be good to you.
However, I don't want a guy who feels the need to speak to her everyday- or take every opinon she has as law. He needs to be independent too.

ummmmmmmm, NO.. I have 3 sons and at one time they were all momma's boys, and it drove the girls nuts... girls do NOT understand the position a mother holds in some boys lives... I have 2 sons that are divorced, so I hope you listen well... and I am trying to be honest here , and it hurts !!! my middle son is unmarried and never has been, he is a momma's boy and a daddy's boy, NOT in a bad way, or at least in my eyes, but he loves family, and lives a lot in an old fashioned way, hard to explain... I have tried my best to cut the apron strings, but he keeps retying them, also not in a bad way, but it makes it hard for a girl to get to know him and make a seperate life with him... he is dependable, honest, pays all bills on time, does not waste money, etc... he just has old fashioned ideas and ways, that come from dad and I... and if a girl cant get past the idea of how much dad and I mean to him, and his family, brothers, nephews, neice, and others, then they are just *poof*, gone, sad but true... so, I suggest that you limit the momma's boy side of you to important matters, and try to make room for the girl in your life... God bless

In most cases no. If your a mommas boy that's good but you need to be independent and make your own decisions. The thing I think women like about mom ma's boys is that the tend to be a little bit more sensitive than some guys.

my opinion on that subject is hell no we dont i can say that because it hits really close to home with me it is the most irritating thing a woman can go through....especially knowing that if you are with a mommas boy than you know that she is a over whelming individual and you will always be in a tug a war with her about your lover or friend...so being nice guys like your mommas taught you guys to be....tell momma to ease up a bit and give us poor girls who love you all a break or a better word a chance to be just like you.....Angel

some girls like mommas boys because they have a sensitive side and that is key in a good guy but you can always have your mom there for you so you also need to have a strong side

I would say maybe a girl yes, but a woman no. We enjoy a man who appreciates and loves his mother also treats her with kindness and respect but his life is his own and he is an indepandant man who has been fully nurtured and finds his own way in the big world we live in.

I love to see a man treating his mom good most of the time that is how they will treat you too. But, they need to be your man not their mommys anymore of course I hope they still stay close to their mom and help her out as long as she does not interfere in yours and his relationship im sure all of you should get along well.

Hi
Most women I have known do not like Mamma's boys. We do not like having to live up to someone else's expectations. Women want a lover, a man, a partner - not a child.

It depends, because some guys just don't get that fact that you have to let go at some point
