Are you sure you have dandruff? It could just be dry scalp. If it is in fairly big chunks and has an odor then it is dandruff. If it's a lot of white stuff and it only comes around at a certain time of year then it's dry scalp.

If it's dandruff, try Paul Mitchell's tea tree shampoo and conditioner. The tea tree line has other products too.

If it's dry scalp then the stuff you are using is just making it dryer. You need to get something like Bed Head's moisture maniac or Self absorbed line of shampoo and conditioner. I would do some deep heating conditioners too. Go to a salon and ask what they use for their treatments and if it is a top of the line product, then have a few of them done until your scalp has been re-moisturized and your flakes are gone. Maybe even do them once every couple of months to keep your scalp conditioned.

I use essential oils three times a week for my hair and scalp dryness to keep the dandruff away. But too much oiliness might be a problem for you (my hair situation is similar but still different from yours). My suggestion to you: Try this first because i really think it may help. I know someone who had a serious dandruff problem and was given this advice. Use a dime-sized or nickel-sized amount {about 10 drops} of an essential oil (olive/jojoba/lavender/rosemary/carrot./t. tree) in the center of your hand. Then rub both hands together and rub it through hair (rub on ends too). Do this treatment THREE times a week. A tiny amount will go a long way in your case. IF this does not work for you, you need to see a specialist.

use jojoba (teatree) oil and other than that just use herbal escenses special dandruff conditioner, but also use reg conditioner and shampoo, because i have found that just doing that makes it go away. don't get a prescription shampoo that stuff is all chemicals and completly wrecks your hair. belive me i tried it.and it make your hair smell like poop. oh and don't scratch just put teatree oil on it. and if you swim, put the oil on it emediatly after
