I get a chemical relaxer on my hair and as a result my hair gets split ends very easily. I want to keep it strong and healthy so it does not come out when I comb or wash it, or from a simple, very loose pulled back style. It's driving me insane because it broke off last year in the back in the exact same way.
My question is would Mane and Tail prodcuts, not the shampoos or conditoners, but their moisturizing products be able to stop breakage and split ends? Which products would I need? If you have something that works and it's not Mane and Tail, I'd still appreciate an answer.
Thanks.

Use all of the M&T products combined (Shampoo, cond., and others) because they work well together. I used the shampoo for years and I always kept long hair. You cant exactly stop breakage, but you can prevent it. Prevent it by getting a great deep condition (Cholesterol is great) and wash your hair sparingly, like every 2 weeks. Relaxed hair is already pretty stressed and worn down. Therefore, treat it like fine lace and barely touch it!!
Before you do anything, do get a cut (NOT A TRIM, A CUT!) because trimming tends to miss the actual damage, because damage is not always at the "ends", it can occur in the middle of the hair shaft for relaxed hair (specifically where you pull your hair back). On your hair daily, I suggest wearing a hair oil daily on the hair shaft and just pulling it back, leaving it alone.... that will help alot!
Hope this helps!

You need to use good products for your type of hair which is for chemically treated/damaged hair. Also you must condition your hair regularly especially before AND after chemical treatments to avoid breakage. I've heard that many lines are good: Mane N Tail, Pantene, Nexxus, Creme of Nature, and Keracare are the most frequently mentioned products from my experience.

try spreading olive oil in your hair it will make your hair look shiny, then after a day put in some hot oils, regular hot oils for treated, colored hair is a must!!! try using shvarskoppf (did i spell it right) products, their good and will make your hair really healthy, some products as kerastese and loreal liss extreme are good for the hair,
when your hair is wet don't comb it allow it to dry before combign it. hair is too weak when its wet, and put on a lot of conditioner when you are taking a bath, shampoo your hair 1 to 2 times a week only not everyday because shampoo is chemical and your hair was just treated with chemical, so the chances are you are jsut killing your hair...

Well, because you used a relaxer on your hair, I would get the deep conditioner from Joico. Its gonna be sorta expensive, but its awesome. If you dont want to buy a name brand treatment, go with a conditioning treatment for dry or stressed hair like Pantene or something like that. Just make sure you buy a treatment conditioner, not a normal one.

Relaxers are bad news... Go to your nearest salon and ask them to sell you what you need. Look around one of the prettiest hairstyles known ,
you have to have natural curly hair to have, and always in style. Check your styles and go with what you 've got.
