i finally think i have to admit that i need my meds to live. if i don't take my meds i think i'll die because i am not chemically balanced and may kill myself either suicide or unintenally by doing something unsafe like i do drive 100 mph down I-95 and I-4 like an idiot, yes that would be me and not purposely. i try not to, but then it just happens, when i'm not taking my meds correctly. i think that is what the shrink meant by the diagnosis he gave me too... ok later peeps and thanks for comments and help here.

Depression and other chemically induced mental illnesses can be successfully controlled with medication. If you have a chemical imbalance, and can fix it, why wouldn't you? If you were a diabetic, you'd take insulin wouldn't you? In your case, your pills could keep you (or someone else if you are driving like a maniac on the freeway) from dying or worse from a wreck. Keep taking the meds. It's safer for you and anyone else on the highway.

Defining a problem is the beginning of the solution.

I would think you were weird if saw you behaving like that. In fact, I would be one of the people calling 911 to get you apprehended.

You just admitted you NEED your medications.

You acknowledge that you engage in dangerous behavior if you don't take your medications. Think how terrible you will feel if you smash into somene you love and hurt or kill them because you didn't take your meds.

You could be sitting in jail for vehicular manslaughter feeling like hell because you mangled a friend or family member.

What exactly are you asking? If you're weird or not? If so, then no, this chemical imbalance happens to a lot of people. Please try to make sure you take your meds correctly, talk to someone about help doing so if needed! Best wishes hon! =0)

Don't feel bad if you need medicine. You have a physiological condition that requires medicine to bring it into balance; so please take you medicine sweetie.

If you are driving down the road at 100 miles per hour and something happens, you wouldn't be able to grace us with your presence!

Baby look, you're not weird you just need some guidance. What has happened to you in your lifetime to have you so inbalanced? Prayer really does change things and I'm praying for you right now!!!
Slow down while driving and try to think of positive things when you think of suicide. Nothing is that bad.....NOTHING!!!!!!
Remember one thing.....TT cares if you think no one else does!

Keep taking your meds.
Some people need meds to stay alive from cancer, AIDS, anything really. Medication for mental illness is the same. There is no reason why you should feel like you have to give them up.
Good luck. :)
