Definitely do what your doctor says. It would be a shame to make yourself sick right before your wedding! Kindly explain to your future mother-in-law that you have to follow your doctor's advice and cannot lose weight because of medical conditions. Mothers-in-law can be wonderful (or tacky) but you can patiently listen to their advice and then do what you want to.

I think it is none of your mother-in-law's business what you weigh! And you certainly don't need to lose 10kg, that is totally unnecessary and quite frankly ridiculous. You are within the healthy weight range for your height and unless you personally want to lose any weight, you should stay as you are. It is your wedding day, not your mother-in-law's!! Take care and don't let her boss you around! HTH : )

Excuse me for being direct but tell mommy-in-law to take a flying leap. It's your body.

Obviously you do what your doctor says. Your husband needs to talk to his mom and tell her to but out of your lives.
