My cat goes to the vet like, around every couple of months. That's when he starts coughing and sneezing and green snot comes out of his nose and he starts losing hair on his back end and behind his ears. He itches so bad that he makes himself bleed and gets scabs all over. He bring him to the vet just about every other month and it's REALLY starting to wear on us. We LOVE him, he's our little buddy, but is there any way we can maintain a healthy lifestyle for him to keep him in peak shape? He's 10 years old and healthy otherwise. Is there any food or suppliment that you could suggest that I could use on my little bugger? ANYTHING. He's such a nice cat and I hate to see him go through this, you know? I almost want to cry.... Please, I'll take just about any suggestion and try it.

Try a really good food like Felidae, and add some raw meat and yogurt(plain,unsweetened-not diet).Go to your local drugstore or health food store and purchase a product called My Defense. It's for people but animals can take it.Give him 1 capsule a day.Nutribiotic Grapfruit Seed Extract is good ,too as it is a natural antibiotic. It comes in capsules or liquid, but the liquid is very bitter,so I would get the capsules and give him one of these daily as well. For his skin, try adding the contents of a salmon oil soft gel to his food twice a day.You can also use plain ,saline nose drops to clean out his sinuses.A few drops in each nostril 3 or 4 times a day.I would also add a good cat vitamin and 100 mg. of vitamin C daily.Good luck and I hope your cat feels better soon.

Drs. Foster and Smith are a co. that sells pet supplies. They have several vets on staff that can help you with questions. Vitamins, nutrients, allergy aids, and medication is available. Just google them and send them an email through their site. If you don't get help from them, contact the Vet and have them explain what is wrong and why the treatments have not worked or kept kitty well. Email me if you need to. I love cats and rescue them. I will try to help you guys.

What does your vet say? If you're not getting good results from your vet, maybe you should find another one.
Your cat may have allergies. It could be allergies to food, cleaning products you use in the house, just about anything. Do you let the cat outside? He could be getting into something outside or be allergic to something outside.
I wish I could help more, poor baby!

Try Nutro Max catfood and fresh water.
Make sure his box is cleaned daily.
Ask the vet what could be the problem?
Seems to be an allergy of some sort.
