If the Bible is the complete word of God, why then was it put together by a council of men?

God inspired the works in my opinion (when in Timothy it says all scripture is God breathed it is talking about the old testiment) , all of many works new and old.. Man tried to limit the contents but God miraculusly got it all that we needed in there, despite what was a monumental effort to eliminate some truthes thus you must study. No where (in the Bible) does it say it is the complete work. It also does not say it is the final revalation. It refers to a future despensation which is largely not spoken of, and since that means the rules will change once again most certainly it is not the final revelation. There is a warning in the beginning of the book of revelation not to add or subtract but that was to that individual writting.

Men some of whom were friends of Jesus worked to put in those works they found to be credible. The one who started this and led the way was not very logical in his choices. He thought there should only be 4 Gospels because there were four direction north, south etc.

Here the important thing if you are to make a critic you must read it through several times or your critic will not be worthy of much consideration. Of those who have done this by far the most of these have become God's friends.

The main thing is the Bible was written by men that were inspired by God.
To know if they were truely inspired or if the Words they wrote were from God, do a web search on fulfilled Bible prophecy, some sites will give you the date that something was prophesied and the date that it was fulfilled with 100% accuracy. I don't know of any other books that this has happened in. Makes for interesting reading if you want to know whether or not the Bible was written by men that were inspired by God.

I ask you, How do we know the universe was created in the Big Bang or how do we know our there are particles in the universe smaller than a proton called quarks? Because through hypothesis and experimentation a council of men agreed on that. Knowledge and Revelation are always human creation as much as Wisdom from God. God does not act alone: we are their messengers too. God doesn't NEED us to send the message, but he wants us to be part of it, he want to speak to us in our own language. Knowledge comes from the same source than Revelation: from humans who feel, read and write about a wonderful universe that speaks to us in many different ways. Original book of Jesus was Injeel. Jesus as a newborn child to virgin Mary had perfect knoweldge of Torah (Book of Moses) and Ineel and he spoke as a wise man. So did Muhmmad came and he was the final messegenr so the book given to him was protected letter by letter and word by word from the very time Muhmmad used to receive the message. Muhamamd who could nto read or write used to remeber the ntire book by heart and used to recite infive times congregational prayers and many pradyer at night. Addtionally he used to dictate these verses whcih were intially written on differnt writing material and sed to listen back to make sure things are written corectly. Many many Muslims also mmrizedthe Quran by heart and rectierd in five times a day and this way Quran was protected form day one letter by letter and word by word. Soon paper came and the entire Quran was transferred on paper with utmost caution and care and the God as promised fresh frozen the Arabic language so the Quran is as fresh today as 1450 yeasrs back as motivating, as refreshing as on day 1 and with no contradiction with science. Muhmmad (PBU) was given the this living miracle so that every one can see it all over the world. Jesus was saved by the God from hanging oin cross. He will come back and die a natural death. All children are born innocent and the God had forgiven the sins of Adam and Eve whcih they jointly committed. Jesus will come as Muslim as as was before too. He will live a Muslim life and defeat the Dajjal (ANti Christ). Muslims will eb with Jesus. He will marry and have children and die. Thus third part of the paryers of mother of Mary would be fulfilled whcih asked for protection of progeny of Mary (Peace be upon her)
