Is this abuse. I'm 14 i just turned it on october 21st. Well tonight october 25th I had volleyball practice and my dad told me to either go to my friend ariel's house or the bowling alley to wait for him until like 8:00 pm. I chose my friends house and told him. at about 8:00 pm I walked right across the street LITERALLY. with my friendS to meat up with my dad who I thought would be their but I was wrong. Sp I waited THINKING he was going to pick me up there. He finds me smacked me and kicked my leg. in the car on the way he told me i was going to get beat toinght. I get home and he told me to come to the garage I did and he was going to LOCK me inther while he beat me. Being the teenager that I am I tolkd him it was going to lock he threw me on the ground and started PUNCHING me. he socked me several times and pulled my hair ( yes i'm a girl) I got hit in the ribs and in the face i have bruises and scratches to prove it. and now he's throwing me out to go live with my mom. to b con...

You were absolutely and totally abused. You need to go to Social Services and file a report...NOW. How awful! Don't wait, they can get photographs of the marks he left on you and prosecute him for child abuse. That is totally out of line.

Sweetheart. Parents have the right to give you a smack IF you did something REALLY bad for kids to learn BUT!! this is ABUSE
dont be scared of him he is your father face him be brave look him in the eyes and tell him with respect that you dont tollerate to get punished like that and you would want him to talk to you about problems next time without hitting you.
he has a problem if he cant do that.
dont you think you should go and live with your mom?

Get out now! Go and live with your mom. Does your mom know how your Dad treats you? If not then you need to tell her like ASAP! If she is a caring and loving mother then she will get you out of that abusive relationship with your dad. Did your dad beat or hit your mom?Sounds to me like your dad needs some serious help, before he kills someone, you need to get away from him, tell a school teacher or call CPS. This is ABUSE ABUSE ABUSE

yes this is abuse i suggest you call the police like right now if you cant call the police get out and go to a neighbors and call. do something. your dad has no right too hit around on you like that no matter what the situation might be.

YES!! Press charges! Do not let him get away with that behavior. If you don't want to press charges does your mom have a brother? Or perhaps your mother would like to take care of him. I am a mother of two and if anyone including their father ever did something like that there would be serious consequences and repercussions!!

I would think that at 14 you are not so naive to know that if you get beat up that bad that you would not know that was abuse. If that happened then you should tell the police and they will take it from there.

CALL your local police dept they will contact childrens protective services..I suggest you leave now and go to a neighbors and make the call do this on your own do not tell mom she may try and stop you....file a complaint with the police dept ..so it is on file for future reference....GET OUT OF THAT HOUSE NOW.......I ONLY WISH I LIVED NEXT DOOR HE WOULD BE BEHIND BARS RIGHT NOW.....PLEASE BE SAFE...miia
