Bought here in Australia, sound comes through the TV from DVDs and previosly recored stuff on the hard drive. There is just no sound between TV and DVD. It is set up with a 2 RCA plugs to 2 RCA plugs stereo audio lead and 3 RCA plugs to 3 RCA plugs component video lead. The picture is not grerat either.

Try all connections between TV and DVD ensure they are properly connected.
Alternatively you could ring the place of purchase for advice.

go to set up program check sounds settings some newer machines require sound and picture set ups before use

no sound.. poor picture... try some new leads... rewire it all again and see if it works ok..x
