Lilies?rose or what? What flowers should I buy?

how about a big balloon bouquet, sent to his work. Our father got a big kick out of it when we did it - talked about it for a long time. They thought it was pretty cool at his work also.

A Jade plant. If it has to be flowers then, a mixed bouquet of mostly greens, with some beautiful orange & yellow hybrid lilies, red carnations and a sunflower.

Try a fruit basket instead. Most men don't care to receive lilies, roses, etc. You can always go with a green houseplant, too.

I would not buy flowers. I would go the fruit basket route, or order him a special food basket, with imported snacks.

I think a bouqet of sunflowers tied with a fat green or brown ribbon would be nice, not to "girly."
