Hi Dear,
You didn't mention your height if its 5.4 to 5.5 inch you don't need to do anything you are perfect. Anyways the important question here is do you want to loose weight? Why should your mom-in-law tell you any such thing? Is your to be husband having a problem just ask him. And please don't do anything sill by going on diet.
If you still want to loose weight than i thing the best person to tell you this will be a good dietitian who will suggest the best way keeping your problem in mind.

It would depend on your height.
If you're 4 feet tall, then of course, you might need to lose some weight.
If you feel healthy, do not give a **** what your mother-in-law has to say. And since the doctor has already said that you have low blood pressure and shouldn't be dieting, eat healthily with lots of veggie like spinach and go for evening walks with your husband before dinner.

Tell your mother-in-law that you have a medical condition where you can't lose that much weight. You can do walks, swim, sit-ups, or crunches, just be careful not to lose a lot of weight. Don't let your blood sugar drop too low and make sure you stay hydrated and less starchy foods.

55kgs is not much. You didn't give us your height, but I presume you're 5' 2''-5' 6'' in which case, you sound fine. Why is your weight your mother-in-law's business? You sound like you don't need to lose any weight at all.
Also, brendie, I live in America too, but I know how much 55kgs is and I'm 12. There is no need to be so rude. â¥

That is crazy listen to your doctor, dont go on diet, in fact, you need to gain weight! i was 55 kgs when i was 14! Also it shoudnt be her choice as in what to decide as what your wight should be. Explain this to her. Also, for blood, eat beetroot. Now beetroot wont give you a supply of blood, but it encourages blood supply growth.

You didn't mention your height.Weight and height are co related. Here's a thumb rule...convert your height into cms.Now deduct 100.The result is what your actual weight should be around.
As far as weight reduction is concerned, go for daily brisk walks (30 minutes ), light exercises and avoid oily foods and rice too.
