hi does anyone know what time tax credit goes into the bank in the uk cos i phoned about 5ish and it wasnt there so can someone please answer this question for me as we live in germany as my husband is in the army and it costs me a fortune phoning the bank many thanks xxx

It's usually between midnight and 4am. Can you not join "telephone banking"? It's a free call to check to see if your money's in!

you could p.c.. up a p.c.. from the interior sight interest centre. This has each and all of the records you like and the applying form with a prepaid envelope to deliver off. I alert you however - the applying form is extensive and takes a pair of hours to fill in. that's properly worth it however.

It will depend which bank you are with. I am with LLoydsTSB and they tend to be a bit slower than others at processing transactions. You should consider internet banking as it is really easy to check if your money has gone in.
