I wasn't nervous before the MRI, but now I am feeling concerned. And don't tell me that with half a brain it only takes half as long! This is my evil head we are talking about so try to control yourself.

MRI taken. Results get in line to be read by a radiologist. He writes a report that is sent to your doctors office. The doctor reviews and then tells nurse to call and make an appointment, if you don't already have one. The whole process can take some time, as in days, not including weekend time. Stay in touch with the doctor's nurse, so you can see the doctor as soon as it is useful to do so. Good luck.

It depends on the doctors and like my town where you live. I live in a small town so the test results have to go some where else and then returned to the doctor which can take any where between a few days to 2 weeks depending on how the doctor places the order, if it is just routine then there is no hurry but if the doctor put a stat order on it then it gets back very fast. Now when I lived in denver it only took less than 2 days to get them back. So it all depends on the resoucres you have avalable in your area and what your doctor wants.

depends on the doctor and how long it takes them to study it.
if you are really bad or nothing wrong not long at all. but they may need to ask a colleague so it may take another day.

but they print right away so you can see if you ask nicely
