I have six months left in the Navy to close out twenty years of service and I am greviously disenchanted with my command and just want to walk out the door. My command is trying to bully me into having a retirement ceremony. Is there any regulation that forces me to do this or am I just being strong-armed?

No ain't mandatory at all, something important as this u want to discuess u family/spouse first, then ask u command like the Command Carrer Cunseror to sep up the ceremories, retiremetn ceremories need to numerous hours of prepare and practice and make sure u choose the right people for their job. no regulatoin force u, it think only 1 out of 3 retiree did a actual ceremories .
