I have 5 pit bulls. My female had 2 litters, and she gave birth 62 days after mating. So count 62 days from the day that your's mated.

In my females it has always been 9 weeks to the day. That would mean that your female wouldn't be due until October 31, Halloween. That's any day now, always be prepared because it's possible that she may have gotten pregnant before you noticed them being together. Good Luck.

Wow, two dogs both having litters of puppies.
I think it's time to get your dogs fixed and stop the over population of pets.
Didn't you watch your other dog when she had her puppies? Is the pit having the same symptoms? Heavy breathing, a lot of licking down by her birth canal, can't get comfy?

How are you going to afford vet/puppy care for two litters? If you compare that to a spay neuter you will find it pretty comparable. And you can usually find a low cost place through your humane society or something!

I know everyone says to spay and neuter etc. But really - if you have to write yahoo for answers, then you really shouldn't be breeding them - accident or not. If you are really careful enough - it wouldn't happen.

Gestation is 56-60 days...so you can expect pups any day now. Good luck!
