Well, we really need more information.
I lost 40lbs in 1 month without trying but then i went to the doctor and found out i had Graves Disease.
If you are overweight to start and have just been eating sensiblly lately, or getting more exercise, i would think that you are just burning a few calories more than usual.
21 lbs in 2 months is not really considered rapid weight loss as long as you are not getting sick from it.
It is always a good idea to have yourself checked by a doctor.
better safe than sorry.

It is said to be unhealthy to lose more than 3 pounds per week. But that really isn't my concern. What worries me is that you lost 21 pounds without any effort. That's a pretty big weight loss in a short amount of time with no effort whatsoever on your part. I would immediatly make an appointment to see your doctor to discuss this because it is most likely directly related to a medical condition.

Without trying? hmmm that is something to worry about. Not only have you lost alot of weight too quickly (doctors recomend only about a pound or two per week) but you weren't planning to lose the weight in the first place!!! You must be really stressed!!! Take a vacation or go for a massage.

Hey, the definition of significant wieght loss is someone loosing more than 10% of their body weight in 6 months. so you must check this.
Also calulate your bodymass index which is wieght in Kg divided by height in meters squared. if it falls below 17 you are under weight. so please go see a doctor if you are underwieght.

I would ask for a blood test right away.
There's a long list of possible causes. None of which should be ignored.
