Best would be to work for a humanitarian Organization like for instance UN or Care international as volunteer or as a field officer or as a project coordinator relating to projects that work on human security and development

Take a flakey humanities undergrad and then get a masters degree in international development. Follow that up by working at an NGO.

Salvation army Red Cross and the army does good thing too they have part just for that. Do missionary work.
