The price really depends on the area you live in (ie big city, small town, country, etc). I work in a vet clinic in a small town. We charge anywhere from $65-$120 depending on the dogs weight. We also have optional packages that include blood work, etc that will raise the price even more. Vaccinations cost $20 and are required for surgery (or proof of vax if already given).
Good luck and I commend you for having your dog spayed!!

call your local vet and ask if there is an organization that helps with the cost of pet neutering. I know there are several out there. At the first of the month the allot so much money to each local vets or township when the money is used up you have to wait for the first part of the month and go back on the waiting list. I was able to do this as I am disabled and on a fixed income.

Well most cities that i have been in, if you go to the Humane Society, if you ask for low cost spaying they will ask you a few questions then i think you pay maybe 10-20 dollars and you take the paper they give you and get the job done.

A lot of vets and humane societies do low-cost spaying. Down in Florida, it's about $30.

I think it would depend on the area (State) in which you live, here in New York it would probably be about $300.00 for everything, including take home antibiotics and pain pills. Good Luck.
PS-If your dog is large over 60# or over the age of 5 yrs. you would probably want to tack on at least another $50.00 to the above mentioned price.

If you can let me know your area, nearly all counties have low cost programs, or even free clinics in much of CA..Here, it is $85 for a 20 pound dog, or $40 if done through the low cost program.
If you call your local shelter, they will know when and where the low cost program is..

I got a quote on neutering my gold retriever and he is 9 months old(45lbs). They said it would be about 150 dollars, it is probably less than that. But remember, cheaper is not always better.

it seems to depend on the vet! call around to find the cheapest, unless you have a good vet already that you trust! my vet is 90.00 for 40- 50 pounds! it all depends on the weight!! if she is real small, it should be cheaper!
