Last Jan. I learned that in order to lose wt. I must exercise for 60 minutes at least 5 days a week. sooo I made that my priority ...that meant sometimes going to the gym at 5:45. Other days at noon or 6 pm. Here it is November and I have lost 10 pounds and inches so that when my winter clothes came out a few weeks ago , they are a nicer fit....Now I plan to lose the second 10 pounds and have added 15 minutes to the 60 min work out. The other tip I have is ...In the past When i would eat badly I would abandon the whole ship ...stop exercise , continue eating poorly...This past 11 mos I did not abandon ship But kept the exercise routine up... then get back to the correct eating ,,,not always right away, sometimes a week or so would be filled with bad eating...But I never left my #1 priority ...exercise 5 days a week for 60 min.... Today I am on the alert not to miss the exercise routine for fear that I would not return to it... Because I like variety I do not do the same exercise every day...I do treadmill, step aerobics, Gravity, Yoga, pilates and play single tennis.

You're still at a healthy weight. Tell the people who tell you to loose weight that they need to learn some manners. If it is a concern, talk to your doctor about what weight he or she would like to see you at and then talk about what options you have for loosing the weight. Maybe a physical therapist who is also a personal trainer is an option. Maybe a healthy lifestyle in the way of how you eat is the key. But at 5'5" and 135, I'm sure you're fine.

Your weight is in the normal range according to the suggested weight scale at my doctor's office. You sound just right to me. If nothing else, try some swimming. That would be theraputic for your back possibly and keep you toned. You dont need to look anorexic.

I think you should care less about what other think about your weight.
The most important thing is to fix your spine problem. if you weight contribute to your spine problem, then lose some.
Again, weight should not be biggest problem if you are healthy.

Seriously, some people!
What you need to do is maintain the weight you have.
Focus on healthy eating habits, safe exercises you can do and getting new friends.

You don't need to lose more weight, you are within the healthy weight range. You should not listen to people that probably are not in the medical profession and don't have a clue what they are talking about. HTH : )

As a rule, don't listen to what other people say about your weight. Your doctor has the 411. If more people did this we'd have less people obsessed about their weight.
