There are 25 chickens in the cage and 0 pigs. Here is the mathematical solution.
Feet: 2c + 4p = 50
Head: 1c + 1p = 25 ==> c = 25 - p
2(25 - p) +4p = 50
50 - 2p + 4p = 50
2p = 0
p=0
1c + 1(0) = 25
c = 25

if there are 25 pieces of head, and chicken must have 2 feet, and pigs have 4 feet, then thats not fair.
