If you are scared to tell her, then don't do it right now. You can *show* her that you like her by the way you act around her and the other things you say to her that will make her enjoy being around you. The more you are around her, the easier it will be to tell her. Just make it a point to talk to her whenever you see her, smile at her a lot, tell her things that will make her laugh, tell her you think her shoes (or whatever!) are really cool ... anything that will make her feel good. (Just make sure what you are telling her is really true ... don't make up stuff because you think it will make her feel good.)
You'll know when the time is right because it will feel natural and it won't be scary.

Talk to your parents. They'll know what to do. If you don't have the confidence and maturity to talk to your parents about something like this, the girl probably isn't going to respond very well anyway. Twelve is very young to be too concerned about it. Just smile at her and be nice to her. Talk to her parents and tell them you like their daughter. Tell them WHY you like her and ask if they would mind if your parents and theirs all had lunch together one day after church so you could spend a little time with her. Write her a nice letter and let her know that you think she pretty and smart and that some day you would like to go to the movies or a Christian concert with her. Pray about it!

Crushes are fun. I think you should tell the girl that you like her. There are a few ways you can say it, easier one is to just say, "I really like you." Plain and to the point. Do what feels right to you. Suggestion: Try to have it be just you and her. It's harder when there's an audience.

I say, forget about it. just be friends. you are 12 and nothing can come of this other than a break up over something silly and lost friends. Take it from me, enjoy your childhood, minus pointless relationships. I know this seems really real to you right now, but in five or ten years, you will say to yourself "what was I thinking?? we couldn't even go out on a date!"

1. You should learn how to spell really. 2. Pretend like you like her friend. Girls that age always like their friends' boyfriends. After a short while you just pull the old switcharoo.
