I have this boyfriend who has been with me for almost a year. We have a pretty good relationship and make love pretty often. But lately I saw some porn videos in his handphone and it kinds of disturb me. I know that its normal for guys to view these and its not like he is an addict or anything, but what I dont get is what is so fancinating with those videos?

Despite the fact that due to technology porn has become "mainstream", nearly all women hate it because it degrades and objectifies the female gender. We women are hard-wired to understand that we are persons, not things, and we deserve to be respected. Yes, men may be hard-wired for visual stimulation, but porn can easily become an addiction. It destroys marriages and relationships. Stand your ground and tell your guy how you feel.

if you know it's normal, and he's not an addict. what's the problem? All guys look at porn now and then, just like we look at a pretty girl that walks by. It's not because of you. It's the way we are wired.

Your guy is normal. Most guys watch pornos or look at Playboy or Maxim etc. Men are visually stimulated, women are stimulated by words. Porn just appeals to their eyes. Look at it this way as long as he remains interested in you that is all that matters, right. Its okay for him to watch porn as long as he doesn't become an addict or try to come up with "out there" ideas from the movies that you will never be into no matter what.
Relax, let him watch the movies as long as he loves you.

What's so fascinating is that guys get to see the actors do things to each other that they would not do or get to do to their wives/girlfriends. They sometimes like to use porn as a sort of guide for bed play rather than ask us. They like to impress us with some new and/or weird technique that they see in the movie. They also like the girl on girl action.
You should ask your bf what he finds so fascinating about pornos.

well the thing is, because of evolution, men's and women's sex drives are different. and for a guy, that means we want to bang every hot thing that moves. it doesn't mean we WILL, it just means it's our body's drive, or temptation or whatever. porn is an innocent way to solve that problem. i think a "you can look, but not touch" is a good policy.
also, guys are sexually turned on and girls are turned on by words. that's why they make romantic books for women instead of a bunch of porno.
also there's maybe some pure curiosity, like "i had sex with her... i wonder what it would be like to have sex with this other girl, and this other one.."

You're not supposed to get it. Every man (and some women) have a secret porn collection they keep for a little free handed release. Most guys keep it secret or at least try to. Your bf obviously didn't.

Guys are wired that way. We have the abilty to get really turned on from just visual images, and we have a natural desire to have sex with as many women as we possibly can, so if we can't touch we can still look.

Well, maybe they are old. Maybe he was watching them before he met you. How do you know that he still watches them? Most guys what porn when they dont have a girl friend.

Society is telling guys that pornography is ok -- and hopefully you ladies are telling your man that its NOT "ok."
Pornography is addicting, it poisons marriages and it shuld NOT be acceptable.
Tell him his behavior is sick and hes gross and if he cant stop, break up with him.
You should NOT be coherced into thinking its normal and ok - -yes its widespread and considered normal by society, but if you dont like it, you do not have to stand for it. - - You're better than that. (I assume since you're complaining about it.)
