Nasir Ashraf, a Christian stone mason, was brutally attacked by militant Muslims just outside Lahore.

While working on the construction of a room at a school near Manga Mandi in Pakistan, Nasir took a break after becoming thirsty. He drew water and drank from a glass chained to a cemented public water tank next to a mosque, which was reserved for "all" poor people. Returning to the construction site, a Muslim man asked him, "Why did you drink water from this glass since you are a Christian?" The man accused Nasir of polluting the glass. The Muslim man yanked the glass off the iron chain, broke it and threw it in a garbage can. The man summoned other militant Muslims to the scene, furiously saying, "This Christian polluted our glass." Hearing this, the incensed mob began beating Nasir, yelling that a Christian dog drank water from their glass.

The militant Muslims encouraged bystanders to beat Nasir because it would be a "good" deed that would benefit them in heaven. The attackers pushed Nasir off a ledge onto the ground. The impact of the fall dislocated his shoulder and broke his collar bone in two places. This knocked Nasir unconscious and he did not regain his senses until he reached a clinic. A doctor told Nasir that some people had brought him there.

Nasir's father took him home and a VOM representative was alerted about the incident. VOMedical is helping with Nasir's medical treatment and is monitoring his recovery from the attack.

I don't understand why the muslims on this site are denying the reality here instead of stepping up the plate and showing the world that islam is a compassionate religion - obviously, it is not and they are not capible of this gesture. This is a horrible thing that has happened and instead of showing compassion for the man who was attacked, you attack the person who asks the question, you attack Bush by calling him hitler even though he is the putz calling islam "the religion of peace", make references to jews being evil, you ignore the fact that islamists have killed over 10,000 of their own kind in Iraq, and start pointing out anything that you can find relating to non-muslim violence from christians/jews.

I suspect that you don't want to face the fact that your religion really DOES have issues. It is sad and pathetic because the killing is on the muslim side. Here is all the proof you will ever need I'm sure you don't want to face the music but if you do, here it is...

You are pretty old participant here with 11,000+ points. It doesn't befit you to ask such questions. You should understand that that type of misdeeds can be done by people of any religion who are ignorant, biased and extremely close minded.

Anyway, I'd reply simply that Islam doesn't teach that. In Hadith, it is mentioned that our prophet will face those Muslims who violated rights of non-Muslim neighbors.

The guys who said that the glass became polluted, are ignorant about Islam. It was their statement, not Islam's.

Rather,

Drink or food partly eaten/drunk by a Jew or Christian are permissible for Muslims, so long the food don't have a clear sign that it contains Haraam thing.

Do you think those military guys full with hatred knew this rule? I don't think so.

If they did that what you said, they deserve serious punishment.

I bear in recommendations while my sis n bro have been born, my mom and dad began extraordinarily much immediatly. while putting them to sleep, we'd recite some dua' or in simple terms in simple terms there isn't any God shop Allah and Mohammad is His very final prophet (in the arabic version of direction!) as a lulluby. while slightly previous we could often times factor to the sky and say, Allah is severe up there. while slightly previous, and that they start asking questions, jointly with from the place did the meals come? we can say that Allah deliver it down. Or issues jointly with mendacity is a artwork of devil and Allah gets offended. tell him that once some thing is going incorrect, he could pray to Allah or that if he needs some thing, He could pray to Him. Pray urself infront of him. this might enhance his self belief in Allah. Little issues jointly with those counts. Then of direction, there could be mom and dad or different elders praying 5 circumstances an afternoon and reciting the Quran. make particular u recite LOUDLY. Little issues like those progressively get them used to the assumption.

No, this is not what we are taughtor believe right.

Do Christians learn this from the Bible:
October 2, 2004 - Christian terrorist group kills 44 Hindus, wounds 118 in Northeast India. [1]

January 16, 1997 - Christian Identity terrorist Eric Robert Rudolph bombs a gay nightclub.[2]

July 27, 1996 - Christian Identity terrorist Eric Robert Rudolph bombs Centennial Olympic Park. Kills 1, wounds 111.

1983 - Posse Comitatus militia member Gordon Kahl kills two Federal marshals in North Dakota. Three others are wounded.

1969-2001 - over 3000 people are killed in Ireland and the United Kingdom as a result of bombings and other violent acts between the predominently Roman Catholic Irish nationalists on one side, and the predominently Protestant Unionists and secular British Crown forces on the other. More than 1800 of those killed in "The Troubles" are civilians, many the victims of sectarian attacks.

1940s - Terrorist organization Christian Identity is formed on the West Coast of the United States. Followers believe Armageddon will take place as a race war between Aryans, the "pure" people, against Jews, Muslims, and non-whites.

Assuming this is true, this is an example of grand ignorance that is disgusting, and mob mentality, the kind that one sees among KKK, or even worse, destruction and maiming of hundreds of thousands pf lives for control of oil, etc. as well as whimsical Zionist expansionist crimes against humanity. It is sad that the vast majority of Americans are blind to the latter mass crimes, that is miss the forest for the trees!

And did you hear about Sheik Taj Aldin Alhilali, of the biggest mosque in Sydney, say publicly:
Women who do not cover up are similar to abandoned meat,
they are responsible for sexual attacks by men on them.
I was wondering how long it would take for muslim men to blame women in this way.

No, that's not what The Lord of All the Worlds teaches.
Do you teach yourself to have a prejudicial view on the world?
Anytime you focus on one group and their bad apples you are being prejudice. You can seek any one group and get bad apples commiting wrong acts. Don't make me get started, I can name all races, all religions, all nation and point out bad, you just choose to focus on hypocrtical (Fake ) Muslims becasue you are prejudice and it makes you feel better about yourself. People do stuff like that all over the world, that's nothing new. Evil people like that don't have a religion, if they did they would fear Allah too much to have commited the bad act. Something is wrong with them, but don't you dare think they are following Islam, the religion of Abraham.

I'd like to see a confirmation news report from a more neutral source, like a Pakistani publication or AP or Reuters.

No offense but to my way of thinking Christian newspapers are about as unbiased as al-Jazeera that Arab news media.

Your source?

Don't you think that you could change the Muslim character to a Christian and Christian to Muslim and still have the same story of individual bigotry and intolerance?
