k, lemme give it to ya like this, when you take say antiboitics too much, your body gets immune to them, so when you wear glasses after a while your eyes become adjusted to them and are used to them, however then you get dependant on them and you NEED them to see, your eyes get lazier because the glasses are doing the work for them and then you need a stronger perscription. usually your eyes will keep getting worse untill your done growing and then they will usually stay the same till you get older and then you start needing them for reading and such. bottom line is, you like to be able to see right?

Overtime your eyes become dependent on the glasses that is why you have to get a new prescription. Watching color tv or the computer too close for very long time is also bad on your eyes.

see once one receives glasses they ought to have a established examine up with clinical specialist so see no matter if their is any substitute in eye sight, and that too if regularly occurring headache comes then one ought to, next some have interpreting glasses, so some on holding and eliminating glasses some darkish lines of the glasses body would advance also , so better effective ought to bypass for laser treatment to get permeanent treatment for eye ingenious and prescient.

Ok, some factors that could be contributing to your worsening eyesight.

-Spending too much time on the computer/watching TV/reading especially in the dark)
-Not always wearing them (you know, if you keep putting on your glasses, then taking them off them putting them on damages your eyes/worsens your eyesight? Because when you put your glasses on, your eyes have to adjust to that and when you take them off, your eyes have to adjust BACK)
-You need another eye check (the optometrist could not have been thorough)

Yeah...I wear glasses (contact lenses sometimes) too, and I've noticed that my eyesight is sort of getting worse.

worser? lol the board must have been blurry during that grammar lesson hahah.

thats how bad eyesiight happens, it gets worse over time but it will finally stop and plateau. your eyes dont just get bad over night, it happens over a period of time so they get worse and worse every year for a few years. i got glasses in 3rd grade and my prescription got stronger every year til about 9th grade. I've been at about -5.5 from then til now (im 23).

It could make your vision worse if they are too weak or too strong. You should check it up with your eye doctor if you have one. I hope you will find the fit for you soon. Take care.

No, I think not, but they sure can help you see better! As you get older, your eyesight actually reverses! Since I was 16, I had to wear glasses to drive....at 59, I no longer have to! Amazing, isn't it?

No they don't make your eyesight worse...the glasses just make you aware of just how bad your eyes were to begin with.
